From Anne VE3KWI:
Glen Glisinski, VA3GTH TFMCS Member for past 5 or more years.
I regret to tell you that our friend Glen, VA3GTH has become a silent key.
Glen passed away yesterday after a long and difficult illness.
Glen attended our MARC meetings a few times and of course was an active
member of VHARA until the past few months when he became ill. He was my
friend. He and his wife Michelle visited us to go ice fishing on 12 Mile
Lake. Glen loved ice fishing and always took a handheld + external antenna
to make HF or 2M contacts while waiting for bites. I recall QSOing with
him last winter past midnight while he was in a hut in the middle of Lake
Simcoe. He also liked Hamfests either as an organizer, table seller or
He will be greatly missed.
Our condolences go to Michelle and family.
Below are service details for those who can attend.
May he RIP.
regards, *Dorian* VE3YNG

IRLP node 2470 is down for operating system upgrades. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Mike VA3MW and Paul VE3KU visited Skyloft today to fix a few things.
- 224.860 functional
- 442.100 down for maintenance - should be back in about a week
- 53.03 down for maintenance - should be back in about a week
And, if you don't think it doesn't get windy on the top of the tower, I recorded this speed on October 29th around 7:45 in the morning. No wonder things move around up there.
VE3BEG 224.860 is back on the air, still in stand-alone mode. Thanks to Mike VA3MW for fixing it.
The VE3TWR UHF repeater is back online- thanks to Mike VA3MW and Paul VE3KU.
VE3TWR UHF repeater is currently off the air. As an alternative, please use our VHF repeater (145.410 MHz).
